Oregon Dunes Flooding Update

Several recreation sites in the Oregon Dunes National Area remain under high water. Water levels have decreased, but may rise again with more rainfall. Use caution and avoid driving through water. If you must drive though water, drive slowly to avoid hydroplaning.

4/26/24:

• Bluebill Campground – closed.

• Horsfall Beach – Horsfall Road water levels remain high; more than 12 inches deep in some areas. Campground reservations are open at this time, but the road may not be accessible for all vehicle types. Use caution. Conditions may worsen with rainfall.

• Old Bark Staging Area – closed.

• Old Bark Sand Camping – closed.

• Umpqua #3 Day Use and OHV Staging – The sand access area has some water, but is open at this time. The beach access point has cliffed out and is unsafe to pass; use Umpqua #2 for beach access.
